Have you checked out the haas effect? Another cool thing to experiment with is putting a reverb in mono and panning it to one side.Depth comes from reverb (more reverb = far away, darker reverb = far away, etc), volume (quieter sounds farther away), and EQing (rolling off all the high frequencies down to like 5K can really push things to the back of the mix. This comes from good sound selection, arrangement, and EQ moves.Width comes from panning and time based effects. Having said that both can be dialed down or up, but this is just what immediately comes to mind.Just as a side note, I own many different reverb pedals for guitar. If you want the huge, dreamy, lush, type of sound go with VintageVerb. If you’re utilizing reverbs in a more subtle way then perhaps Room might be more to your liking. I tend to do a lot more atmospheric/ambient/soundscape type of material so the VintageVerb is an essential product. Now obviously a lot of this depends on what type of reverbs you gravitate towards.
When you add up the cost of the hardware it’s a no-brainer to realize just how amazing these plugins are for their minimal cost. These pedals are great but I still end up using the Valhalla plugins the majority of the time.
